View Types

The Portfolio module offers six view types, each suited to a different planning or reporting scenario. Switch between them using the view mode selector in the top-right of any portfolio.

Table View

  • Sortable and filterable columns
  • Inline-edit supported fields (status, priority, assignee, due date)
  • Export to CSV for offline analysis
  • Column picker to show/hide fields

Gantt Chart

  • Renders start date and due date as bars on a timeline
  • Requirement: issues must have Start Date and Due Date fields mapped in Portfolio Settings
  • Drag bar edges to update Jira dates directly
  • Create dependencies by dragging connector dots between bars
  • Dependency types: FS (Finish-to-Start), SS (Start-to-Start), FF (Finish-to-Finish), SF (Start-to-Finish)
  • Baseline mode: compare current plan vs. a saved baseline
  • Critical path highlighted automatically based on dependency chain

Graph View

  • Visualises the parent-child hierarchy of issues
  • Expand/collapse nodes to explore Epic → Story → Sub-task relationships
  • Colour-coded by status

Treemap View

  • Each issue is a rectangle; size is proportional to a configurable metric (story points, remaining estimate, etc.)
  • Colour represents status or priority
  • Ideal for spotting large, blocked, or high-priority items at a glance

Pie Chart View

  • Slice by: Status, Priority, Assignee, Issue Type, Sprint, Label
  • Click any slice to filter the underlying table
  • Useful for executive summaries

Board View

  • Kanban columns representing Jira workflow statuses
  • Drag cards between columns to transition issue status
  • Filter cards by Assignee, Issue Type, Priority
  • Compact and expanded card modes
