Timesheet and Reporting
The Timesheet Report Builder shows time logged by the entire team with full filtering, grouping, charting, and export capabilities.
Opening the Report Builder
Time Tracking & Reporting → Timesheet and Reporting → Create New Report (or open a saved report from the sidebar)
Report Components
| Component | Description |

| Report Name | Click the title to rename; saves automatically |
| Add Filter | Set Project, Users, Accounts, Date Range, Time Category |
| Group By | Stack multiple grouping levels for nested reports |
| View Mode | Days, Weeks, or Months column display |
| Log Time | Quick-log button - add worklogs without leaving the report |
| Chart Section | Bar or pie chart of logged time (included in PDF exports) |
| Export | CSV (raw data) or PDF (formatted report with charts) |
Creating a Report
- Click Create New Report
- Click Add Filter → select Project and Date Range (required)
- Optionally add: Users, Accounts, Time Category, Issue Type, Sprint filters
- Set Group By to define row hierarchy
- Choose View Mode (Days / Weeks / Months)
- Click Apply
- Click Save → enter a report name → Confirm
Group By Combinations

Chart Section
- Toggle chart on/off with the chart icon in the toolbar
- Bar chart - compares total hours per group side-by-side
- Pie chart - shows percentage share of total hours per group
- Charts are embedded in the PDF export
Exporting

Saving and Reusing Reports
- Saved reports appear in the Saved Reports section of the sidebar
- Reports save filters, grouping, and view mode - not the data snapshot
- Opening a saved report re-runs the query against current Jira data
