Getting Started
Understanding the Layout
Pulse AI has a consistent three-zone layout across all section views.
Top Bar
Spans the full width. Contains:
- Pulse AI logo and site name (left)
- Scan status indicator with the timestamp of the last completed scan
- Run Scan button (top-right) to trigger a manual full sync
Left Sidebar
Primary navigation. Sections are grouped into:
| Group | Sections |
|---|---|
| Overview | Dashboard |
| Sprint & Delivery | Sprints & Delivery |
| Project & Data Integrity | Projects, Issue Integrity, Data Accuracy |
| Governance | Users, Permissions, Groups |
| Workflows & Schemes | Workflows, States & Outcomes, Transition Screens, All Schemes |
| Configurations | Fields, Work Types, Global Config |
| System | Settings, Help & Support |
Sub-sections expand in-place. The sidebar collapses to an icon-only rail on desktop.
Main Content Area
Renders the selected view - dashboard, table, or detail view. Most section views follow a 5-row layout:
Metric cards → AI Insights + data card → Grade/severity distribution → Inventory → Clean signals
Pulse AI Assistant FAB
A floating action button (bottom-right corner) on most section views opens the Pulse AI Assistant chat panel scoped to that section. Not shown on Settings or Help views.
Tip: Use Settings → Scan Schedule to check your last scan timestamp and trigger a manual scan at any time.
