Installation & Setup
Only a Jira site administrator can install Pulse AI.
Installation Steps
- Go to marketplace.atlassian.com and search for "Pulse AI for Jira"
- On the app listing, confirm Hosting → Cloud is supported
- Click Try it free or Buy now
- Select your Atlassian Cloud site when prompted
- Choose Jira as the product
- Review the permissions the app requires and click Accept to proceed
- The app installs automatically - no restart required. Navigate to Apps → Pulse AI in the Jira top nav to launch it.
Note: After installation the app appears as Pulse AI under the Apps top-nav item in Jira. If it does not appear within 5 minutes, refresh the page or clear your browser cache.
Verify Installation
After installation:
- Click Apps in the Jira top navigation bar.
- Look for Pulse AI in the dropdown menu.
- Click it to open the app - you should see the Welcome / OAuth screen on first launch.
Jira Permissions Required

| Read users and groups | Audit access hygiene and permission risk |
| Administer Jira (admin only) | Required to install the app |
Uninstalling
To uninstall: Go to admin.atlassian.com → Apps → Manage Apps → click Pulse AI → Uninstall.
